Movie World

Long overdue post ; here it is!
Movie World was absolutely amazingggg!
Apart from great rides & shows, there was also great food and a few unexpected pleasures!
Warning! : This post will consist mainly of pictures
cos I believe nothing can explain my experience at movie world better.
So let the parade of photographic goodness begin :

We visited the park before Christmas so everything was Christmasy ahah
(Spot the giant Christmas tree at the back )

This ride ( Green Lantern coaster ) was out of order due to some maintainance issues :(

The Looney Tunes 4D show theater!

BEN & JERRY'S!

Some sort of street performance by awesome looking dancers.
The dancers :)
Though I'm not sure if this is a fixed routine at WBMW or if it was just a Christmas special.
Oh and the Looney Tunes 4D show was amazing!
Highly recommended esp for kids.
Though your head might hurt a little afterwards (since its 4D and basically its about road running, so yeah it can get a little bumpy)
It's very similar to the Shrek's 4D experience in Universal Studios Singapore,
for those who've been there.
But ofc its a different movie!

So this was our first ride at the park!
SUPERMAN ESCAPE!
The lines were supeeerr long (we waited almost 30 mins)
so do go early if you're planning to avoid queues.
This is probably the scariest but best ride so try not to miss it.

The Arkham Asylum ride is right next to Superman Escape,
and its kinda scary too :/
Didn't go on this one cos yeah it involves overturning and hanging in mid air
and basically everything I am afraid of.

The wild west area!
I don't have any pictures here but let me tell you,
the Wild West Falls Adventure ride was my favourite ride in the park!
The queue was long too, but not as long as the one for Superman.
This ride does involve getting wet a little, but I think it was worth it.
Check out the ride pics (and also other show timings) on their website here
Its advisable to check the timings,
just to make sure you don't miss anything.
Like for example the Hollywood Stunt Driver show!

This show is highly recommended for race car lovers!
Lots of smoke and racing around thats for sure.
They only have 2 shows daily, so do check the timings to make sure you don't miss it.

And here's the most exciting and most anticipated part :

The parade!
It begins at 3.30pm everyday at the mainstreet just outside the Hollywood Stunt Driver.

The characters won't stop to take pictures,
so these are the best shots I could get.

We really wanted to go for the Scooby ride which is one of the top favs at the park,
but it was out of order when we went.
They said it would be reopened in an hour or so,
but then we were too caught up with the parade so we just skipped this one.

All in all, Warner Bros Movie World is a great place to enjoy with the whole fam as theres activities for everyone.
They also have a kids section which we didn't visit (lack of time)
I think you could even plan to spend 2 days here,
if you really wanna ride and see everything.
For this, the 7 day pass would come in handy rather than a one day pass.
