Things have changed

So I'm no longer who I was before and safe to say, so so many things have changed since my last post. Don't really use this blog as a personal diary anymore But maybe I'll use it to promote the activities I'm currently working on. Been pretty active over the past few months on various platforms, so might as well make use of this abandoned blog here ahah hehe do read my weekly pieces at The Central's website I'm super happy to be writing there cos Dr Ken is legit the best and he doesn't boss me around much by being too demanding. Literally accepts almost all my pieces with minor to no amendments at all. So blessed You can read the latest one here  & you can just navigate around the website for my other ones (author names have been stated clearly)

Cameron Highlands Day 1

Image
This years Diwali was spent in Cameron Highlands cos I've never been to CH before, despite being in Msia for 21 years.  Yes I live under a rock. So anyways, I'll jump straight to the deets so that anyone planning to go here can use this as some sort of guide? haha We left KL at about 10.30am and we reached Ringlet (which is a town on the way up to Tanah Rata) at about 1.30pm. Oh and our mode of transport was by car :) Steep hills and windy roads, so driving is abit tough but I don't think I'd want to go by bus (I have terrible motion sickness) There was moderate traffic uphill (it only got bad after Ringlet) So our first stop (bcause of my motion sickness)(yes i got dizzy and pale even in the car :/) was Cameron Valley Tea House 1  They had a cafe here with overpriced food and flies everywhere! The only plus point was the view (which i didn't get much pictures of cos i was having a pretty bad case of motion sickness ><) You have to pay R

Life in KMNS

Image
Hiiii guys.  No I do not miss matrix. (okay maybe I do) A little at least, so here's some bits & pieces of my matrix journey :D This is block b (boys block) My block! A2 for lyfe hehe Block A is the most convenient block as its the nearest block to the exit, library and DK1 &2 (the 2 biggest lecture halls in KMNS) A2 is also the nearest to cafe A so yeay! We first set foot here on the 7th (or 6th can't really rmb) of June 2016 and left on the 9th of May 2017. Not even a full year. (Luckily cos I already couldn't take the homesickness) I really appreciate that we had a week of orientation (which was not so fun) and a week of assimilation (kinda fun) before the actual classes began (not fun at all). You do not wanna know how long this took -_- And for those wondering how matrix life is, well to sum it all up I'd say it is pretty hectic, I won't deny. Especially if you're in science module 1 like how I wa

The Fat Bee

Image
Back after years of not posting, so anyway turned 18 on the 9th! And to celebrate, we went to check out The Fat Bee! We went there at around 12 and we were the only ones there. Interior of the cafe is good. Service not so, and parking is not really a prob.  p/s : this picture is not mine as I totally forgot to take a picture It does get kinda hot here so sitting here in the afternoon wouldn't be such a good decision. The pretty wall where everyone takes a pic hehe However according to me, food there was just average. Nothing to go crazy about. Its worth a visit, but only once, for me. French fries : RM 12.50 Chocolate desire : RM 13 Iced Milk Chocolate : RM 14 The Fat Bee Melaka Add : The Jetty, No 12A Jalan Syed Abdul Aziz, 75000 Melaka, Malaysia  (nearby Holiday Inn & Mahkota Hotel) (opposite Mahkota Parade mall) Phone number :  06-283 3696

Sea World

Image
Personally, I preferred Sea World over Movie World and Wet n Wild. If you're the kind of person who doesn't really like killer rides, loves animals and loves Nickelodean, Sea World is definitely for you! The thing about Sea World is, that its so huge, theres a monorail service to bring you around. There is also a hotel in the park, for those who plan to stay over. But I'd say a day trip would be sufficient. A few things to NOT miss out : Dolphin Show, Sea Lion show & Spongebob 3D! Don't laugh, but I didn't go for a single ride in SeaWorld! The rides are good for kids though cos they're not as daredevil-ish as those in Movie World or Dream World. I was too busy admiring cute penguins, polar bears, stingrays, sharks, and ofc spongebob :D This is what you'll see as soon as you enter. Oh and do look out for these : Very useful if you're excited to meet and greet your fav characters! There

Movie World

Long overdue post ; here it is! Movie World was absolutely amazingggg! Apart from great rides & shows, there was also great food and a few unexpected pleasures!  Warning! : This post will consist mainly of pictures  cos I believe nothing can explain my experience at movie world better. So let the parade of photographic goodness begin : We visited the park before Christmas so everything was Christmasy ahah (Spot the giant Christmas tree at the back ) This ride ( Green Lantern coaster ) was out of order due to some maintainance issues :( The Looney Tunes 4D show theater!  BEN & JERRY'S! Some sort of street performance by awesome looking dancers. The dancers :)  Though I'm not sure if this is a fixed routine at WBMW or if it was just a Christmas special. Oh and the Looney Tunes 4D show was amazing! Highly recommended esp for kids. Though your head might hurt a little afterwards (since its 4D and basicall
